Fort Worth Air & Space Museum – Ascent…When Dreams Defy Gravity

Ascent…When Dreams Defy Gravity was a traveling exhibition that tells the story of North Texas’s proud aviation heritage and retraces the steps of the pioneering aviators, scientists, and engineers who made the region one of the world’s leading aerospace hubs. The exhibition’s first venue is the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, where it occupies 8,500 square feet. With hands-on activities and an exclusive feature video, the exhibition explores the evolution of aircraft design and manufacturing and offers a glimpse into the future of aerospace technology. The exhibition features nine A/V installations, including a soundscape, a multiuser interactive experience, two produced films, and six “media as artifact” videos.
