Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History – Outbreak

Outbreak, an exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC is dedicated to examining the relationship of humans, animals, and their environments in regards to the spread of infectious disease. Cortina Productions produced four films and three interactives that allow visitors to learn more about infectious diseases through factual storytelling and engaging activities. The signature media experience for the exhibit is a multiplayer interactive activity that allows visitors to roleplay three different professions to learn how they each have a significant role in determining the origin of a new infectious disease and work together to contain it.

Outbreak will be open at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History through May of 2021.
