“Hamilton: The Exhibition” Opens in Chicago

Hamilton: The Exhibition opened April 2019 in Chicago, IL. Inspired by the revolutionary Broadway musical, Hamilton, this 360-degree immersive exhibition tells the remarkable story of Alexander Hamilton. Utilizing a dynamic and interactive mix of lighting, sound, multimedia, music, and historical artifacts, this one-of-a-kind exhibition dives deep into Hamilton’s life and the founding of America while asking visitors how they can leave their own legacy for future Americans.

The exhibition features the musical’s creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda; Phillipa Soo and Christopher Jackson from the original Broadway production; Joanne B. Freeman, Professor of History and American Studies at Yale University; and actress Olga Merediz narrating the Spanish language translations for the exhibition.

Cortina Productions produced two media pieces for Hamilton: The Exhibition, the exhibition’s immersive large-format introductory film with Lin-Manuel Miranda and an animated film depicting Federalists vs. Anti-Federalists historical political cartoons.

Hamilton: The Exhibition is a temporary exhibition and will travel to select U.S. cities following the Chicago engagement. So be sure you don’t miss your shot to check it out!
